1/16 scale diecast model 1940 Ford Stake Truck by Highway 61 (ETRL)

This auction is for a BIG model truck in 1/16 scale, very rare, particularly in the UK. The cream paintwork looks fantastic and this is arguably one of the most attractive versions available; it would make a stunning gift for a truck enthusiast or diecast model collector.

This particular model, produced by ETRL in 2004 under the Highway 61 brand,  has never been removed from its original box. The model appears pristine  although the box has some marks, dust/dirt and general shelf-wear it remains in pretty good condition apart from some warping to the clear plastic window of the box; please see all photos for confirmation - (note I have included a generic photo of this version of the truck without the box as it is quite hard to photograph and I haven't wanted to take this one it out of its box).

The truck is detailed inside and out and full spec is recorded on the box reverse (again please see photos for details). The level of detail makes this a collector's model and not a toy as stated on the packaging.

I think this is the lowest starting price on eBay with the UK for what is in effect a new-in-box model in a large and hard to find scale. Incidentally this is the scale for many Radio Controlled models especially tanks. This truck would look great with a WWII era RC tank.
