The artist painted this piece on hardboard--likely usung gesso before beginning I do not know this artist, but the painting is signed. Colors are muted. I took a couple of these photos under daylight and the window panes are the dark lines through the photo. The young native American has stopped by a lake to give his horse a drink of water. Behind him are mountains and he appears to be riding through a disiduous forest on a beautiful day.
