I was told this was cast iron, but I think it may be bronze or some other metal. There is a possibility it is antiqued brass, but I'm really not sure. Further, it appears to be handmade / shaped. Very solid piece. Exact measurements will be taken and added to the listing shortly. However, it is approximately 5-6 inches long.

Overall good pre-owned condition. Minor wear consistent with the age of the item and previous use. Some imperfections that appear to be from the original design. See photos.
