This double sided straight razor hone is etched with the name "THE VIM" double hone.  Even with some serious research,  I find no listing for "The Vim" hone.    Perhaps extremely rare brand name, and quite collectable.
This straight razor hone is double sided, with a slightly coarser preliminary sharpening grit, and an extremely fine "finishing" grit on the opposite side.   There is an original edge label to indicate which side is coarser and which side is the final finishing side, and the sharpening sequence for this hone.
The stone has NO chips or cracks, and a very light scratch on the coarser side, as shown in the photos.

Double sided hones give the straight razor user a real advantage in sharpening.  For touchups, use the finishing side only,  but when needed, the slightly coarser starting grit easily replenishes the edge on a straight razor.
Having both in the same hone is rare.   Having the original label is also an "edge" to the serious hone collector.
