Rosenthal Art Deco Coffee Cup And Saucer

Indulge in the vintage elegance of this Rosenthal Art Deco Coffee Cup and Saucer (E Series), featuring a stunning chinoiserie inspired design. 

Made from high-quality fine bone china, this set includes a 70ml capacity coffee cup and saucer, perfect for hot or cold beverages. With its round shape, painted floral pattern, and multicoloured hues, this delightful cup and saucer has a lattice imprint to both pieces. The saucer also includes four evenly spaced art deco motifs in the colours of indigo, gold, and green. The saucer is further finished with two inner bands of gold coloured gilt and is also edged in gold coloured gilt. 

The outer decoration on the coffee cup includes the same motif as featured on the saucer which includes an art deco floral display placed on either side of the coffee cup. The lattice imprint is evenly spaced around the upper rim of the cup with gold coloured gilt bands and trim. The inside of the cup features a stunning exotic bird with accompanying floral embellishment in the same colour palette of indigo, gold, and green.

This original handcrafted set is suitable for all occasions and adds a touch of sophistication to any table setting.

***Please Note: Small paint spatter on one side of the cup and in around one of the motifs on the saucer is evident. There is some minor surface scratches to the top surface of the saucer and gild wear to the inner band and outer edge of the saucer as well. Also, there is some gild wear to the lower outside edge of the cup handle.***
