An extremely rare issued note with only two graded in the PMG Population Report. These Silver Certificate 500 Pesos were only issued in 1944 and 1947 and are usually only available to collectors in Proof or Specimen form. This denomination features the portrait of Salvador Cisneros Betancourt, an important figure in Cub history, who served as president during the Ten Years War and the War for Independence. The grading company mentions a lightened stained on this highly desirable example.

Fully Issued Rarity from First Series of Banco Nacional de
Banco Nacional de 10 Pesos ND (1905) The highest denomination from this initial series, that ultimately was supposed to be destroyed after printing. However, not all notes were seized after the initial distribution, and a few banks released some examples before word spread throughout the island. This uncirculated example is particularly impressive, as was thankfully saved by a forward-thinking person who realized the rarity of this extremely brief series. At the time of cataloging, there are only four examples graded in the PMG Population Report, with two being Uncirculated. A 20th century and Caribbean rarity that is not to be missed.

I USE A HIGH QUALITY PRINTER/INK THAT I FORTUNATELY STILL HOLD FROM WHEN I WAS IN THE GRAPHIC DESIGN INDUSTRY THAT I HAVE NOW ADAPTED FOR THIS PURPOSE.
I HAVE ACCESS TO MULTIPLE DATABASES ACROSS THE WEB AND HAVE HIGH QUALITY SCANS OF A LOT OF THESE BANKNOTES MYSELF BUT PLEASE BE AWARE THAT I ALWAYS FIND THE BEST PHOTO/SCAN AVAILABLE TO ME AND SOME OF THESE NOTES ARE SO RARE THAT NOT ALL WILL HAVE PERFECT HIGH RESOLUTION SCANS AVAILABLE.
I HAVE USED MY GRAPHIC DESIGN SKILLS TO BUILD SOME OF THESE NOTES FROM SCRATCH. SOME OF THESE BANKNOTES WE KNOW EXIST BUT THERE ARE NO PHOTOS/SCANS LEFT, SO I HAVE BUILT THEM FROM WHAT IS AVAILABLE E.G. SPECIMENS, SIMILAR BANKNOTES AND OTHER DENOMINATIONS.
I TOUCH UP ALL OF THE NOTES TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY WITH THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO ME. BY TRYING TO BRIGHTEN THEM UP, HIGHLIGHT THE COLOURS AND REMOVE ALL THE RIPS AND TEARS
