This is a genuine WW2 RAF Supermarine Spitfire Canopy that was discovered with several others being used as a plant cloches in an allotment near RAF Brawdy. They were removed from Spitfires scrapped at Brawdy at the end of WW2. The other canopies were more complete and have been donated to a Spitfire restoration company.

As you can see it’s in a pretty sorry state. Held together by the tape. Unfortunately the plastic missing from the large hole is long gone. Rather than it ending up thrown away in a skip one day I’ve decided to offer it up for sale. Would be quite a talking point in the old man cave.

Due to size and condition collection only from near Southampton. SO40.

Happy Bidding.
