Presented is an lovely Chinese covered small tureen in a Canton pattern. The tureen displays great landscape scenes of buildings and foliage along a river across the lid and around the exterior of the base. These scenes are flanked with boar head motif handles on sides surmounted with foliate motif handle on the lid.

The piece is in great overall condition. There is a line in the glaze on the underside of the piece. This is not a crack as it doesn't penetrate through to the other side; this line is just in the glaze. There is a very small chip at the base of the piece. There are no breaks and no repairs.

Measurements: 7 inches from handle to handle, 4 3/4 inches wide, and 4 3/4 inches tall with lid
