DescriptionUp for sale is a Vintage “Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction” Pulp Magazine! This is the rare July 1965 issue, Volume 29 Number 1. This issue features Rogue Dragon by Avram Davidson, The Expendables by Miriam Allen deFord, The Eight Billion by Richard Wilson, Becalmed in Hell by Larry Niven, Exclamation Point! by Isaac Asimov, A Murkle for Jesse by Gary Jennings, and The Pterodactyl by Philip José Farmer. These are all the original first printings of these classic science fiction stories in any publication. It is a 130-page pulp magazine published by the Mercury Press and measures about 7⅝” x 5½”. The magazine features a wonderful painted cover by pulp artist Jack Gaughan and a cartoon by Gahan Wilson inside. As shown in the photos, the magazine is in very good condition with a little cover wear and light soiling. The paper is intact along the magazine’s spine, and the magazine is complete and remains well bound. Its interior pages are nice and clean with some small light corner bends and no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This rare vintage Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction would make a great addition to your collection!
