UK Royal Mail delivery is very unreliable at the moment and there seems to be little difference between 1st and 2nd Class. It may be worth choosing the slightly cheaper 2nd Class option. To reduce postage costs I'm happy to hold onto items for up to 21 days so that combined postage can be done which can work out more economical.
