After doing extensive research I believe this doll is French or made for the French market (possibly Jumeau) and is marked simply DEP 4. She stands just under 16" tall and has open mouth with molded/cut square teeth, painted lower lashes, fur eyelashes, blue sleep eyes and pierced ears. I find no cracks, hairlines or chips in the bisque (including pierced ear holes). There is a tiny painted artist mark on her left rim but I can't make it out - looks like x . Her mohair wig is full and a light auburn color (maybe original) with cardboard pate. Composition ball jointed body with pull string cryer (non-working) and taped chest area. 2 middle fingers on right hand have been repaired, left toe area has minor damage and almost all paint has been chipped off left forearm. Back of thighs/legs show age discoloration.

Doll is wearing antique and maybe original panties, half petticoat, soft pink silk dress with some fraying/melting, dress has attached half slip. Chiffon hat is very fragile, mounted on wire rim. Both the dress and hat have some damage but still display well. Clear glass drop earrings are attached to ears with string (which probably explains why her ear holes aren't chipped!). Knit stockings and leather shoes are reproduction replacements. I always kept her hair pinned up under her hat so it may need some restyling if worn down. Stand not included. I welcome any questions and/or information on this doll, selling as is, I do not accept returns, I have added many photos!.
