AUSTIN A35, 2 DOOR SALOON.  1957.

This auction is for a Austin A35 2 Door saloon. Registered new November 1957. Unfortunately it has been subject to accidental damage and is listed as having structural damage. Some of the previous damage has been rectified. It does need a new drivers door which only shuts on the first catch due to it being distorted. The rest of the car is reasonable but it does need some welding repairs in the usual places, such as front and rear box sections and inner and outer sills. It requires a repair panel at the bottom of the drivers wing. the floors look quite sound. There are some areas where paint has reacted. Prior to the accident damage, the engine was reconditioned including new pistons and rings. The interior is in reasonable condition. The front seats are very good, with no rips or tears. They also have new webbing. The rear seat is not so good. It also has a new exhaust system. This A35 will make an excellent project for someone. It runs and stops for loading. All the brake cylinders have been stripped and cleaned out, with new seals fitted as necessary. The brakes would benefit from additional bleeding. All of the pictures are taken in its present condition. The registration number is non transferable. I do have the V5C in my name.
