This Cambo Master II Legend PC 4x5 View Camera is a high-quality camera perfect for film or digital backs. It has a focus type that is manual and features a yaw-free tilt design. We used these Cambo cameras initially for 4x5 transparency film then switched to a Sinar 54M digital back that we used for years. Most digital backs have an adapter for Cambo. 

Since we used these cameras in a commercial studio, yaw free tilts were important when using very long lenses to help the table-top product to look the same size front to back - in other words, a similar product like shoes going back and up in the shot  -- Normal perspective reveals a large shoe in front and a small one in back. By using the yaw free tilts at the base, and tipping the read forward, we were able to get the back shoe and front shoe much closer in size - even while . This is most important when using your camera at a downward angle. A yaw free design, where the the tilt mechanism is located below the swing mechanism makes life much simpler for correcting perspective without continually readjusting other movements to compensate. Yaw free is also helpful in architectural photography. Yaw free can also work with the Scheimpflug principle allowing for even more depth of field than Scheimpflug principle alone.

Note that some of the brakes on adjustment knobs aren't used because they drove us crazy! The gears are great at staying in place anyway, so if a brake won't turn - leave it alone. Just turn the adjustment knob instead - it may be hard to turn if it hasn't been used in awhile.
