Custom high quality standards approved UL2468 black and black (white stripe)  2-core parallel speaker wire and new 'retro' plug for Weltron 2003 speakers

This modern cable is physically thinner and more supple that the original Weltron speaker wire but higher rated to 300V and 3 amps.

The original Weltron speaker wire is now over 50 years old and will have become quite brittle with the original connectors often failing

The cable comes with a fitted new 'retro' 5.5mm connection plug that is VERY similar to the original grey/black plugs fitted by Weltron in the 70s (see photos). The plug is high quality and not made in China

Available in 2 lengths 1.4m and 2.4m (see note 2)

1 x speaker cable and fitted plug

1 x strain relief grommet (for inside the speaker to stop chaffing at the exit point - see photo)

1 x 3 page instructions how to open up the speaker and fit the new wire correctly

note 1: you will need basic soldering skills to connect the new cables within the speaker case

note 2: 2 lengths are available, the 1.4m matches the original 1.2m cable fitted by Weltron (as there's approx 20cm inside the speaker).
