Two Generations, Osbert Sitwell, Macmillan & Co Ltd, 1940, First Edition, First Impression 

In two parts and covering fifty years of changing social history, this follows two nineteenth century members of the author's family speaking for themselves and their times. In Part One, Georgiana Sitwell, born in 1824, draws upon her memories of her childhood and youth. In Part Two, Florence Sitwell, born in 1858, deals with the period 1873 - 77. 

This is a First Edition, First Impression in very good condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards are clean and the gilt lettering and decoration on the spine is bright. The toned and slightly foxed end papers and pages are clean without marks, tears or inscriptions, The top edge retains its original brown tint. 

The unclipped dust jacket is in good condition with a small hole to the front cover, shelf wear to the top and bottom edge of the spine and a tear to the bottom edge of the toned back cover. 

Will be despatched wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box.
