Super Adept Lathe. Popular mini lathes produced in Sheffield between 1930s and 1950s.


Small size, approx. 30cm in length. Chuck diameter is 5cm. Needs a bit of TLC but all parts move and work.


This lathe is mounted to a wooden board and wired to a 3 point plug. Runs on 240V but looks to have an American motor (see photos) so it spins a bit too fast. Motor could be swapped or a transformer could be added to change the voltage supply to the motor.
