Antique Two(2) Horizontal Door Box Lock Sets 1930s to 1940s

These antique box lock sets (2) come with all parts except the keys. I believe they are made of steel or iron, as they are very heavy (over 1 lb each). They appear to be in working condition, and have not been cleaned (except wiped off with a dry cloth), as I leave that for the collector who knows what they are doingJ. These treasures are part of my dad’s collection, and I am sorry I do not know more about them. Each box lock has a faceplate that measures 5.25” and the attached box lock measures 3.65” L x 3” D x .65” W. All of the screws and lock faceplates are included. I am guessing on the age some, but remember seeing these in my grandmother’s farm house built in the1930s. I would like them to go to a place where they would be useful!
