The glass has no fogging, haze, or scratches. The focus and diaphragm are smooth. No oil on the blades. There is some light coating wear near the outer edge of the glass on an interior element and minor dust. This has no affect on the image. The lens has been tested on a digital M and the image rendition is very good. I asked about the coating wear and it is just an age issue.
It is hard to believe that this lens is 70 years old and produced in the first year of production.
