This ad is for the FB Motocompacto lovers, who have seen my posting for an alternative seating solution, and expressed interest. If you want one, here's your shot, before I advertise to the world.

Posto comforto (seat not included) Motocompacto also not included!  this is just a post to mount YOUR seat!

I love my Motocompacto, but the seat is too hard and small, and it does not offer ample derrière cushioning.

I looked carefully at the existing honda seat assembly, and saw it was a highly engineered part in all metric proportions.

There was no part of it that would mate with any aftermarket seats!

I drew up a design for a seat which would precisely fit the Honda’s post assembly and lock in place. I call it Posto Comforto.

It features a standard 7/8” bicycle seat post, allowing the use of any of the hundreds of available standard bicycle seats!

I teamed up with a local fabrication shop and was able to create a working prototype of my design.

I completely overbuilt this part using 1/8” steel to be able to stand up to bumpy surfaces and my 220 lbs, without failure!

I used a commercially available steel bicycle post, that was welded into my custom post adapter. (Note: None of the full size bicycle seats will fold into the motocompacto’s body. This is for applications where the Motocompacto won’t be stowed for travel.

I use mine to ride around at car shows, flea markets and around my neighborhood.

It fits in the back seat of my suv fully assembled!

The first batch is finished, and you can be one of the first in the world to enjoy the comfort and confidence of using any standard bicycle that the fits on a 7/8” post!

There are loads of seats in many colors and styles with amazing suspensions.

If you’ve riden on a sidewalk, you know how much any suspension would help.

Crafted from steel in New Jersey, each post was hand machined, welded, hand sanded, hand finished, and numbered.

You must supply and clamp your new seat to the post, with the locking slot facing forward.

Then, simply remove the factory seat and install your replacement seat.

It locks into place like the original.

To remove, press the factory release.

You can switch back and forth as you wish.

I have hundreds of hours into this project, and a pile of metal pieces that wouldn’t work.

This project has fought me at every turn.

But my goal has been reached.

Now, will anyone want these?

If so, I will produce more.

If not, there will be hunks of metal in a box in my basement. The first 5 I’m offering, will be sold for $110. Plus 10$ flat shipping.

The regular price will be $120 plus 10$ flat shipping.

Check my 100% feedback since 2002! I usually ship next day!

The seat I use that matches pretty well, is a Bikeroo Oversize Bike seat. Vintage Brown. google it.
