Green Drumstick and Acrylic Tube

This stick is from the first show in US performance of the Black Album in Peoria, Illinois. I personally caught the stick and obtained autographs from all four members - Lars, James, Kirk, and Jason. While I consider the Black Album the greatest, I also had the opportunity to attend other shows during the years including performances of Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All, Garage Days, and more. I even have a map from my trip to Peoria that I plan to sell eventually, which is signed and commemorates the first show of the Black Album.

Food for thought James is no longer signing his name this way, so this makes the drumstick much more rare.

OK, here you go I promised you there’s a story for every item. This is actually one of the most significant pieces. This started the whole journey After convincing the guys, me and my brother, along with a friend, embarked on a road trip from Virginia to Peoria, Illinois, for Metallica's first Black Album show in the US, a journey halfway across the country.

The anticipation was palpable as we arrived to the concert venue, eager to experience the legendary performance. During the electrifying show, amidst the roaring crowd, I managed to catch a drumstick, a cherished souvenir of the unforgettable experience.

Little did we know, our dream of meeting Metallica would soon come true when they toured the East Coast a few months later. Through persistence and luck, me and 3 friends befriended Jason Newstead, after showing him the map of our trip to Peoria. I was able to meet all the members of Metallica and they signed the drumstick, making it a priceless memento of my journey.

This black drumstick is from a show, possibly in Cincinnati. It was two nights show, On the first night, we saw the show and then went to the after-party, where we discovered there was a bowling party with the band. I spoke to Lars and asked for a drumstick just like that and He asked if I was coming the next night, and I said yes. Lars told me he’d see me at the show. I made my way to the front and stayed there for the entire concert. It was an incredible show. After the concert, when Lars was throwing out drumsticks, he saw me, walked over, and handed me one from the stage. I did manage to get it signed by Lars and Jason, but the signatures were in black on black and faded or smudged. Unfortunately, I can’t make out what it says. My bad.

Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. I have additional Metallica items with signatures available coming soon. I obtained these signatures as I am a friend of the band. I can offer ample proof to verify the authenticity of these signatures, including numerous photos with the band. I will soon be selling extremely unique, one-of-a-kind items that will not be available elsewhere. If you come across something truly special that you may never see again, and you believe it holds significant value to you, it may be worth considering acquiring it while you have the opportunity.
