I just purchased a series of vintage Art Deco flapper fashion design original sketches at a local estate here in Central Virginia.  There are a total of 7 framed drawings and this auction is for a LOT of 3.  They depict illustrations from the Roaring 20's and 30's era.  I believe that they are ink drawings accented with hand tinted water coloring.  They show great detail to the fine features of the face and hands and are exquisitely drawn in the style of French fashion illustrators.  I do not have any information to identify the particular house.  The drawings are on paper and measure 12" x 4 3/4" (area shown ) and are matted and framed under glass in gold frames (12" x 17").  One is in excellent condition, the second one has one smudge on the paper (pictured) and last one pictured has lots of small faint stains (looks like liquid spilled).  Please check my other listings for companion sketches to these wonderful vintage fashion design works of art.
