This charming vintage basket from the 1940s is a wonderful addition to any farmhouse or country-style home. The woven wood design offers a rustic feel, perfect for use in the garden or at the market or showcasing in your kitchen decor. The basket features a warm brown color that complements the natural wood material. Measurements are 14.5” by 11.5” at top, base is 9” by 6” at bottom. Handle is not moveable.

It is an original piece, unsigned, and was created sometime in the 1940s. This was used by my grandmother in the 1940-1950s for gathering the morning vegetables and flowers from her garden. Has been carefully preserved - there is one small place where reed has broken off. Does not distract from beauty of the basket. Otherwise, in good condition.
