1859 $5 The Bank of Tecumseh note from Tecumseh, Michigan.

This bank operated from 1836 until it closed in 1839. It was revived in 1855 and failed again in 1860. 

This note has a colorful green tint and dark green counters / accents. Above the title is a Vignette of two farmers operating a horse-drawn plow. On the bottom right is a Vignette of hens and chickens.

This note grades Very Fine+ with a couple internal cuts, possibly partial punch cancellations.
