Rare midcentury 1960s designer teak and rosewood dining table with 6 chairs by Robert Macarther for Vanson

This is a rare opportunity to purchase this Vanson rosewood and teak mid century designer table along with 6 matching chairs.

Vanson was one of the leading manufacturers for Heal’s, and this designer piece was launched at the Manchester furniture exhibition in August 1963 along with matching teak and rosewood sideboard (also available on a separate listing) priced at £137 15 shillings - around 20%-25% premium above than standard models by G Plan and McIntosh of the era.

The set has been lovingly taken care of, remaining in the same smoke and pet free home since it was originally purchased. The chairs are missing a couple of buttons, but otherwise both table and chairs are in excellent condition.

For collection only but very happy to work with the successful bidder’s chosen courier company.
