This was the top of the line AKAI 3 Head Single Cassette Deck Gx-F95. 81~83 with wooden color metal case which is rare, clean and simply beautiful.

This item is all that is shown in the photos.

It powers up, the cassette compartment opens and closes, controls compartment opens and closes automatically with a light help. All lights function, but the cassette COULD NOT be played, FF or RW. The deck is able to monitor as pictures show

Each button was UNRESPONSIVE , but the knobs and switches were all nicely responsive

Other operations have not been checked.

The Deck will come with 3 new sealed memorex DBS 90 tapes and nothing else. This was AKAI’s TOL in early 80´s.

It’ll be nice to have a person that knows about this deck to take it home and get it back to the golden age as the physical condition is good, few imperfections but very light. Refer to pictures to access the physical condition of the deck
