For your consideration is ONE very rare CHU-2 horn tweeter made by the Racon Electronic Company in New York City, New York USA.

This sale is for a single ( ONE) driver & horn. It is from the mono era of hi-fi.

That is why I only have ONE and only ONE is included in this listing !

This unit is rated at 15 ohms and tested ohms on my Fluke 77 multimeter.

I hooked it up using a filter cap and tested it sonically.

It sounds great,possibly even exceptional given it’s age.

The horn itself is made from cast aluminum and it has a crinkle black finish.

The receiver / driver obviously has an AlNiCo magnet structure and looks like a smaller version of the Western Electric 555

There have only been a handful of these available over the last few years and and those sales always include ONE tweeter.
