Sony CMT-EX1 is a vertical loading CD AM/FM stereo mini system with remote. It was manufactured in Japan in 2000 and belongs to the Sony CMT product line. The system features a silver color, AM/FM band, and various audio outputs such as headphone jack, stereo L/R RCA, and raw cable speaker jacks. It also has audio inputs, connectivity options, and features like tape/AUX in and CD optical out. The unit is a compact and shelf stereo that can play CDs and AM/FM radio.

The tuner works great but the cd player needs to be tapped on top to get the door on top to open and then the mechanism will work to load the cd.

The battery cover on the remote has a bad clip so it needs tape to keep it secure.
