GORDIE HOWE'S DETROIT RED WINGS 2014 NHL WINTER CLASSIC JACKET - WORN BY GORDIE DURING ALUMNI GAME

This jacket (size XL) was given to Gordie Howe by the Detroit Red Wings when he arrived at Comerica Park for the 2014 NHL Winter Classic Alumni Showdown. He wore it before the game in the locker room and during his ceremonial puck drop underneath his jersey. These retro style jackets were manufactured by Reebok for the coaches of the game. It features a vintage Red Wings logo on the front, Winter Classic patch on the sleeve and Stanley Cup Championship years embroidered under the tag. The 2014 Winter Classic went on to set an NHL attendance record and become one of the biggest celebrations of the game. It has been in Howe's personal collection ever since.
