Grande dipinto italiano mitologico firmato e datato 1910. Opera ad olio su tela, in prima tela, raffigurante nudo femminile a soggetto mitologico, Andromeda incatenata, di ottima mano pittorica. Quadro di notevole misura e impatto che si sviluppa in verticale, adornato da cornice lignea scolpita e dorata di bella decorazione. Elegante e sensuale la donna incatenata alla roccia che, secondo il mito, era stata data in sacrificio a un mostro marino per espiare le colpe della madre. Sempre secondo la mitologia Andromeda venne poi salvata dall'eroe Perseo in sella al suo cavallo alato Pegaso. Opera firmata e datata in basso a sinistra M. Ornati riferibile al pittore Mario Ornati (1887-1955), mancante di autentica. Dipinto di grande fascino, per antiquari, arredatori e collezionisti di pittura italiana del XX secolo. In buone condizioni con qualche piccolo segno del tempo. Luce dipinto H 108 x L 93 cm. H 133 x L 118 x P 6 cm

Großartiges italienisches mythologisches Gemälde, signiert und datiert 1910. Ölgemälde auf Leinwand, erste Leinwand, das einen weiblichen Akt mit einem mythologischen Motiv zeigt, Andromeda am Felsen, von ausgezeichneter malerischer Qualität. Gemälde von bemerkenswerter Größe und Wirkung, das sich vertikal entwickelt, geschmückt mit einem wunderschön verzierten geschnitzten und vergoldeten Holzrahmen. Elegant und sinnlich ist die an den Felsen gekettete Frau, die der Sage nach einem Seeungeheuer geopfert wurde, um für die Sünden ihrer Mutter zu büßen.
