VINTAGE BAKELITE PRYAMID IVORY TELEPHONE CRADLE 

 Very Good Condition for an early pyramid cradle

This is a genuine 'classic' handset Cradle for all GPO Pyramid telephones from 1929 until the 196O's. 

The Cradle fitted most of the 100 and all of the 200 Series telephones.

Introduced originally in the mid 1930's  it is made by 

the Phoenix Telephones & Electric Works Ltd.

Lovely Bakelite from an early manufacturer.

NOT a modern reproduction.

It is in great condition cradle, with

 no cracks, major nibbles or scratches and very shiny.

However there is a very small chip on the rear right staghorn &  few tiny surface blemishes on it. But you would expect that from an item nearly 90 years old.

Markings are; PX/PX 1

This particular cradle came from a 1935 

GPO No 232 pyramid telephone. 

It has finger hold indentations along the sides and is slightly wider than cradles for the 100 series.

It will fit both 100 and 200 series Pyramids
