This delightful charmer from the late 1800's is hand carved from Cararra marble and depicts one of the cherubs from Raphael's monumental Sistine Madonna. Carved as a souvenir for Grand Tourists, the little fellow measures just 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 3 1/8" deep and is full of details and personality. You will note small nicks and rubs and some discoloration from over 100 years of handling. There are no repairs or bad losses.
