This is a lovely Ridgways Pottery of Stoke on Trent Hawthornden pattern blue and white soup bowl. It has the diamond mark to the base dating it from c1880. It has the blue and white pattern to the sides and lion figures on the blue handles. The pattern number of 7583 is also on the base along with the pottery backstamp. It has some internal wear and a chip to the base. There is also a couple of cracks on the base close together. All are pictured. It measures 18.5 cm in diameter including the handles and 7 cm tall.
