Here is our well-loved 1990 Hymer B644 Fiat-based motorhome left hand drive, which is a true classic.
It is a 6-berth motorhome with 2 factory-fitted seatbelts and 2 lap belts.

The middle seats in the dining area can be put into travel mode where everyone is facing forward. This area can also be converted into a single or double bed area.
It also has a drop down double bed above the cab. And the sought-after U-shaped rear lounge converts into a king-sized bed with windows on 3 sides. This rear lounge feels like a spare room and is a lovely place to read a book, completely surrounded by windows.
It is also a handy place to put two teenagers who don't want to get up in the morning, so you can still have breakfast without any moans and groans.

The kitchen area sits 4 comfortably with another 4 easily fitting into the rear lounge, if you have guests.
The 3 ring gas cooker works brilliantly, we have cooked many a fine meal on it. And the sink/hot water is all in good working order.
The toilet has a Thetford toilet, sink and shower- all working well.

It includes:
100l fresh water tank
Three-ring gas hob
Three-way fridge
The hot water tank works on gas and electric
1 propane gas bottle (can hold 2)
Truma blown-air heating
Small solar panel, great for topping up the batteries
2 leisure batteries
Thetford toilet
Upgraded lighting, all led
Wind out awning
Fiamma Bike Rack for 3 bikes (can be upgraded to take 4)
Loads of storage

This motorhome has served us well, but our family has grown up, and it's time for us to downsize. There has been a lot of work done on the motorhome, but it is 34 years old.
We have never had any problem getting parts, and most of the insides are original, built with plywood rather than plastic.
We had the engine rebuilt not long after we bought it (2017), and it has been driving like a dream ever since. It is easy to drive, starts first time every time and has power steering, making it easy to manoeuvre. The upgraded rear spring suspension (6-leaf instead of 4) makes it very steady on the road, and it has an MOT until 18 May 2025.

The Hymer is mechanically sound but there are a few things to consider.
We never use the gas heating as we never camped in the winter. We have a small electric heater that is ample for heating the van.
There are a few points of wear and tear but generally, the van is in very good condition for its age.
It is rated at 3500 kilos, so it can be driven on a normal license. It has just under 202000 km (about 126000 miles), and the cambelt was changed 5000 miles ago.
We have had many adventures, but our kids are now grown up, and it's time to let someone else have some fun. Please get in touch for more information or if you want to see it.
