Scalextric Audi R8 LMS Rum Bum Racing 2013 Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona 24 Hours Cat. No. C3854

This Rum Bum Racing Team Audi entered the 24 Hours Daytona 2013 which was the first race of the Rolex Sports Car series. In fact it was also the last, as it would merge with the American Le Mans Series for 2014. A top driving team of Frank Biela, Christopher Haase, Markus Winkelhock and American Matt Plumb had a disappointing qualifying and started the race in 32nd position. However they managed to stay clear of danger during the gruelling race, finishing 15th overall and 7th in their class.
Bought from new, this car has only ever been kept in storage or on display.
Headlights, rear lights and motor tested: all good.
