A beautiful vintage French silk nightdress lingerie case. In padded blue silk, the front is decorated with a French painting in silk of Whist players. The braid is fine metal thread, woven into bows, the braid also edges the case, one of the small knots at the end is missing a stitch, easy to rectify just to hold it in place. Inside is lined in a pale yellow moire. In excellent condition, I doubt it has been used.
