A carved wooden mahogany sculpture of two merpeople / mermaids meeting by a rock out at sea. It is hand carved rather than machine carved, so I believe it to be vintage. I am unsure of era.  I think it may possibly be Indian or Indonesian. There is a lot of detail, particularly on the faces and hair. Please note that the colour is a touch darker than in the pics.

It measures 47.5cm wide, 24.5cm high and 19.5cm deep.

It is in good condition, however one of the tails has taken a knock at the back - please see pics.

Please note that it has been oiled and polished so please be wary of leaving it on absorbent surfaces in the near future.
