This antique FA Davis Kirkfield tennis racquet is a highly sought-after racquet for collectors and tennis enthusiasts alike. Made on Aldergate St in London, this racket has a rich history.  It was played by many of the best players from 1900 to 1910.  An FA Davis won Wimbledon several time during this era of tennis.

In 1925, Dunlop given it's recent success making tennis balls,  jumped into the tennis racket business by purchasing FA Davis.

This is a terrific racket that will display beautifully.  The logo is pressed and crisp.  The handle and butt cap are in near perfect original condition.  The beam and bow have very little wear whatsoever.  This solid racket is straight and true.  It has its original red and white crossed gut, however broken.  The backside of the racket has initials carved (see photograph).

This is a must-have racket for any Dunlop racquet collector or collector of rare antique rackets.
