- Vintage 1950's-1960's Harold Gale 15" Santa Claus Figure ~ Mechanical / Moveable Store Display ~ Red Velvet Suit, Fuzzy Boots, Mohair Beard, Hand Painted Face
- His beard is coming apart and has some loose mohair & staining (photo 8 & 9), There is one particular area on the front of his coat that has small tears (photo 10 & 11), and some scratches/paint loss on chin (photo 7). Bells on his boots have some light rust. There is also some white cotton like material on the back of his neck (photo 18 & 19). I'm not really sure if that is part of his collar or stuffing (???)
- There is a small manufacture made hole on one foot where he would have stood on a wooden platform. His arms move at the same time. So when you move the one arm the other arm automatically moves as well (I tried to show that in photo 20 & 21). I wasn't quite sure what this was used for but then I found one online that showed it on a wooden platform and stated it was a mechanical store display. This one in no way works as I don't have the mechanical base.
- Measures 15" tall. Weighs 1 pound (prior to packaging)
- Despite his damage he is a RARE find for a Harold Gale Santa especially with the Fuzzy Boots. Typically they are Plastic.
- NOTE: I have him propped up against a plastic box as he does not stand to well on his own.
