This shredder was owned by my late father and has been well looked after, I inherited it from him and have used occasionally in my large garden/ small woodland - this is not a 'toy' but a well engineered sturdy machine
Useful to someone just starting out on land scaping/ tree work?
I have used the machine to shred, chip and mulch all kinds of small branches, garden brash etc..
The main body (where all the works takes place) is of steel construction (not thin plastic) like some of the modern ones.
The original hopper and vertical 'chute' was missing when I inherited it and I replaced it with a 10" piece of uPVC Polypipe underground pipe, wall thickness approx 12mm, this has been in place for many many years and does the job perfectly! In my opinion the hopper is not really required.
The shredder/ chipper has 2 solid wheels which allow you to move it quite easily on hard ground and a third leg for stabilising the machine.
The chute where the chippings/ mulch comes out is quite wide so it doesn't get bunged up! I usually put a tarp or smaller container under it.

The height of the main unit (not inc the orange vertical chute) is 650mm
Approx width of main unit 730mm
Approx depth of main unit 700mm
Large opening (at the top) for the brash/ small cuttings/ twigs is 235mm internal dia
The lower side 'chute' for the branches is 50mm internal dia
Weight approx 50kg
The unit can easily be transported in a hatchback car or estate once the chute has been removed - this is easily done as it is only attached with 3 x 10/12mm bolts - check sizes with you car boot/ hatch opening
The motor has start/ stop buttons, the original cable was also missing and has been replaced with a suitable cable, this has been used for 25yrs plus. Cable length approx 6m
Blades have been sharpened
I am trying to get a copy of the user manual (in Pdf form) and will include it if I have managed to do so but there is no guarantee - UPDATE no manual found but I attach a original picture of all the parts!
