When their doors pops open it reveals one of the characters. You will also hear their voices. 

It works and kids love it! They will open and close the doors over and over again!

Each character works. The only issue I had was the cookie monster button needs to be pressed a bit harder to get him to talk. Not all the time just sometimes. But it does work. I like to point out any and all issues i have with my items so my buyers are informed and pleased with their purchases.
