AVEM Murano Bizantino Tutti-Frutti Ruby Art Glass Vase Label Vintage 10"+: Jewel!

This is a rare large Bizantino (tutti-frutti) art glass vase in carafe form, probably by Fuga;

his design anyway. It has all the special effects in layers on a gorgeous translucent ruby red body. Retains the export label used by AVEM (Arte Vetraria Muranese), abit rough around the edges. Also has as the first layer the metallic speck favored by Fuga, as well as the concentric gold filaments around the ruffled clear mouth. I've taken lots of pix to show the diversity of the effects which in this example come together harmoniously.

It is 10.25"h and the base is about 6.5"w. Thick and heavy though the pretty ruby color

and the especially fine techniques aren't clumsy at all. A fine example of beautiful Venetian art glass!
