McIntosh C8S (Rare) & C8 Tube Preamplifiers in Wood Cabinets

The C8S is a special C8 that allows the setup to work as a stereo system. Both come with original wood cabinets as shown.

I haven't tested the pair. They derive power from McIntosh power amps. No tubes are included. I think this pair is in the original form; no mods. I did open the C8S and share some inside circuitry. It's all original.

Physical condition is reasonable for the age. All original knobs. Front plates are straight; no bent. Wear and scratches due to use, as shown in the pictures. There is typical discoloration on the front, particularly on the C8S. Both back plates covering the tube compartment are missing. The wood case on C8 can be re-finished for better presentation. I advise you to inspect the pictures closely; they are part of the description.

The sale only includes the preamps shown in pictures; no manual, box, or any other accessories.
