Beautiful carved lucite and bakelite brooch that is in excellent condition.

Measuring just over 2" high and 1 1/2" wide,  this brooch is constructed of a lucite base in carved with lines on the back. The edges are rounded in a type of scalloped design.

The bakelite silhouette measures about 1 3/8" high and 1 1/8" wide. It is made of bakelite in an art deco design. It has been tested with Simichrome to verify this (see photos).

The brooch has a C-clasp that works well and is secure for wear.

There are no cracks, scratches or other disruptions on the piece.
