A beautiful original antique tea caddy tin by Ringtone of Newcastle on Tyne.

Hexagonal design with plaques to each side, each featuring Japanese scenes.

Dark cobalt blue ground with gold flower decorations.

Maker’s marks to base and inside lid.

Measures 4” across and stands 7 1/2” tall.

In good overall condition and displays well. Some scratches in places, quite a few through to the silver tin, and one side has a diagonal dent and bruise below a small rippled crease towards the centre. Lid is a good secure fit.
