ARTISAN CRIBBAGE BOARD

This "One-of-a-Kind" heirloom board was fashioned from specimen quality hardwoods that are both beautiful and exotic.

The main body is thick solid slabs of exotic quilted Hawaiian Koa  married to figured Cocobolo imported from Costa Rica.

The face of this cribbage board has three handcut inlays, 2 are Black Ebony and the coin shield is Claro Walnut.

An inlaid 1926 Oregon Trail commemorative quarter concho adorns the Claro Walnut inlay shield.

The sides feature Holly inlays that were hand cut from Holly dimensioned wood stock.

Holly is the whitest wood in the entire wood species and a rare species to find in quantity.

These were precision cut and press glue fitted using a wood vise for an exceptional tight fit with no edge gaps.

The peg storage knob has a Bloodwood face with Black Ebony body and Cherry wood threads.

And an inlaid 1908 Indian Head coin is inlaid into the knob face.

All woods are in their natural color state and have been sanded to 400 grit smoothness,

hand rubbed with 3 coats of polyurethane and machine buffed to a smooth satin finish.

It was made using old world craftsmanship techniques and handmade inlay pieces.

The handmade inlay pieces are minimum 1/8 inch thick and designed to last a lifetime.

Over 30 hours of labor to make this board.

It features the Makers Mark design on the back side.

This board measures 8 inches in length x 4.5 inches in width and is 2 inches thick.

Included are 2 Brass and 2 Black Steel pegs.
