For auction is an Edwardian Dandy named Phillippe.  Indeed he is a real dandy, dressed in vintage and antique fabrics.  Waist coat and short pants are old velvet with satin edging.  His shirt is silk and cotton.  Necktie is organza with a carnelian pin.  Buttons are jet.  Long socks are see-through nylon.  Vest is burgundy silk lined with black silk (clothing description from the original maker - original notes are included).  Phillippe has a porcelain head, hands and buckled shoes.  Bottom of shoe is inscribed "Hutchinson 1982." Phillippe is elegant with his felt and feathered hat.  The maker/dresser calls Phillippe "a real Spanish Tom Jones."  With soft body, Phillippe is 26" tall and has an arm span of 25".  The 2nd last photograph included here is of Phillippe and one of his many girl friends, Ethel.  The last photo includes a young man between Phillippe and Ethel.  His name is Alfred.  Rumor has it that he may be a love child but we have lost track of Alfred and he is longer a part of the "family."  Ethel appears in another auction.  If you like Ethel and Phillippe you can keep them in the same family for $140 and with lower shipping cost.
