ABOUT:

The Mido Ocean Star series features a pure titanium 42.5mm case, with a uni-directional rotating bezel, a black textured dial and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. This watch has a water resistance of up to 660 feet/200 meters, suitable for short periods of recreational swimming. Comes with both English and French day wheel.

Movement: ETA Caliber 2836-2 with bi-directional automatic winding, can be wound by the crown, can be hacked (second hand stopped) ball bearing, 25 jewels, incabloc, 28,800 A/h, 4 Hz, power reserve 40 hrs.

 

CONDITION:

The watch is in great condition with minor signs of wear. No dents on the body, just some minor hairline scratches from office use. Crystal is scratch free. Minor hairline marks on the back side of the lugs from spring bar tool when straps were changed. Strap and buckle are in line new condition.  

FUNCTIONALITY:

The watch functions as intended with all functions and features in perfect working order. The watch accuracy was tested using www.time.gov as a reference and in the power reserve mode (stationary, of wrist, face up) and in 24 hours demonstrated +13 sec gain. The non-COSC certified accuracy rate for for ‘Standard Grade’ ETA movement is +/- 12 seconds/day so currently the watch performance is close to the specs.
