M-1942 First Aid Pouch,  new condition  with Carlisle  Bandage in metal case – marked “INDEPENDENT/AWNINGS/1943”.  The earlier bandages were in a red case whereas the later ones were Olive Drab; I don’t know when the transition was made.  The bandage is marked Bauer & Black  (they also made bandages during WWI) and it does not have sulfamamide that the later bandages do.

I’m an older collector who has decided it is time to start moving some of the collection.  These items are from a non-smoking, pet free and central air/heat environment.  Please ask any questions in advance of the auction as the sale is final.
