Der Korg Z1 ist 12-stimmig polyphon, auf insgesamt 18 Stimmen erweiterbar. Der Korg Z1 basiert auf einer DSP-Klangerzeugung und zählt heute immer noch zu einem der flexibelsten und eigenständigsten Synthesizern. Damals ein Flagschiff mit einem sehr eigenständigen Sound.
