This dainty side table has a handy drawer below a shelf, and fold-up sides making it perfect for "tea for two" (or breakfast, luncheon or intimate dinner). It has been painted with a deep purple mineral paint and decorated with a mock table-cloth of gold leaf and an offset hand-paintedEgyptian lotus motif which has been designed for this table with the idea that a vase placed centrally would not obscure it entirely. The drawer interior is charcoal grey and the drawer knob is an art deco Egyptian blue lotus inspired fan.
